9/11 Stairclimb - Downtown Denver - 1801 California Street
343 Firefighters from all over waiting down in the lower level of the Century Link Building to climb all 52 stories, twice in honor of lives lost on 9/11.
Denver Fire guys on the roof after completing the stair climb. Every Firefighter wore a picture of a Firefighter that died at the World Trade Center in rememberance. They were encoraged to contact the family of the Firefighter they climbed for to let them know they were remembered that day.

Even thought there was a foot and half concrete wall standing between you and a fall of 709 feet down to 18th street, it was hard for me to get right up to the edge and look down.

Pretty crazy to be as high up as a helicopter!
Crazy to look up at the building that we had been standing on top of!
